OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Will Worth • Sr. • QB • Navy • Valrico, Florida
Worth accounted for three touchdowns to lead Navy to a 46-40 win against No. 6/5 Houston to help the Midshipmen improve to 3-0 in the American Athletic Conference and extend Navy’s home field winning streak to 13 games. He rushed for a game-high 115 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries against a unit that led the NCAA in rushing defense and threw two touchdown passes among his three completions, including a 17-yard TD to start the third quarter that gave Navy the lead for good.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Josiah Powell • Sr. • LB • Navy • Providence, Ky.
Powell had two pivotal interceptions — the first two of his career — along with three tackles in Navy’s 46-40 win against No. 6/5 Houston, leading a defense that scored 17 points off of turnovers. Powell’s first interception allowed the Midshipmen to close the first half with the tying field goal, and he returned his second pick 34 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter to give Navy a 34-20 lead.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Bennett Moehring • So. • K • Navy • Bentonville, Ark.
Moehring scored 14 points, making all three of his field goal attempts (from 24, 38, 40 yards) and going 5-for-5 on PATs, to help Navy to a 46-40 win against No. 6/5 Houston. His first two field goals tied the game in the first half, while his third came with 4:38 left in the fourth quarter and gave the Midshipmen a 46-33 lead.

Had 11 tackles and tied the American Athletic Conference record with 5.0 tackles for loss against Memphis.
D’Angelo Brewer • Jr. • RB • Tulsa • Tulsa, Okla.
Rushed for 182 yards and a touchdown on 38 carries in a 43-40 overtime win against SMU.
